  • How do you determine values?
    Values are placed after extensive market research. Depending on the appraisal, that can include contacting representing galleries, auction houses that have handled the work, as well as numerous price databases.
  • Why do I need an appraisal?
    An appraisal is required in many situations to determine an accurate value: updating insurance coverage, equitable distribution such as a divorce or dispersing an estate, or donation to a non profit institution.
  • Do you need to see each item in person?
    While we prefer to see all works on site, it is possible to perform a remote online appraisal with provided information.
  • I want to have an art collection, but don't know where to start. Can you help?
    Of course! We are here to educate and explore the art world with clients. Our goal is to educate and advise so clients can make a well informed decision.
  • Do the values influence the cost of an appraisal?
    No! No matter the value of the appraised item, the fee for an appraisal is based on a flat rate.
